This year I felt I was a little too "large" to play, so Wyatt, Megan, Kamryn, & Derek are the only ones who played this year. The rest of us stayed back and worked on our soccer skills.
Allison and Brynli are both playing this year. They are very excited and both wanted to make sure they got some practice time in.
We had Kamryn there for a little while, showing us the "does and don'ts" of soccer. We had the goals set up, I think more for looks then anything else. Maybe next year they will understand the purpose of the little orange cones.
Little Matthew had to get into the action. He loved it. He was kicking that ball all over the yard just as happy as could be in his own little world.
I don't know much about soccer, all I know is that I am pretty excited to watch Allison play this year. Kevin is coaching by the way, that should be fun, give it that he knows about as much about soccer as I do. Wyatt is the Assis. Coach, so he can help us. We really are not too worried, atleast with this age group. It's a matter of pointing them in the right direction, and stress "no touching with the hands". I don't think we can do a whole lot of harm.

Ohh, that WILL be fun and hilarious to watch her. Good conference tradition!
ReplyDeleteIt was probably safer that the young kids stayed at the house, I was playing for the first time this year, and we don't want all the children coming home with black eyes! Sorry Derek!
ReplyDeleteHa, if I wanted to make an Easter cake with fondant and whatnot, IT would be a disaster, so just hush your mouth! Dresses are much easier than cake!
