We're pregnant!!! We are only 7wks along, but tuesday we will be 8 wks. We didn't want to get to excited or tell everybody just in case we miscarried again. We were quite nervous about telling people. However, my body is already changing enough I was worried Mom or Megan would pick up on it. So, we decided to go ahead and tell everyone. We also thought that if we did miscarry, we would tell you all.
We are still a little nervous, but at the same time I feel completely different then I did when I miscarried. So, I think, & I hope, that we are okay to get excited about it.
I'm doing great, I haven't had any morning sickness yet--knock on wood. I have been exhausted, but that is expected, and it usually gets better later on. I already have the crazy munchies. With Allison I craved stir-fry, corn dogs, most foods that were saturated with salt. With Matthew, sugar. I craved the "Ho Ho's". Right now I'm craving the salt, the sugar almost makes me sick. We are excited to see if we have another girl coming, and if my cravings match. We've got a while before we find out, but it will be fun to see.
We will keep you all updated, and thanks for all your excitement for us. We love you all!!!

Congratulations! That is so fun!
ReplyDeleteCongrats thats exciting!
ReplyDeleteIt will be interesting if the baby is a girl. When I was pregnant with Bruce I felt different than when I was pregnant with Emma, and I just felt like I was going to have a boy. Turns out I was right, but you never know. I think I remember Stephanie saying that she felt different with Eleanor (I hope I spelled that right.) than she did with Kaylee, but both of her kids were girls! I miss being pregnant, but I don't miss it at the same time... Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteHey Melanie, I'm still new to this blogging thing, but I made my blog private, and I don't know if I can invite you through your blog somehow or whatever, but would you mind giving me your e-mail so I can invite you to my blog? If you don't want to leave it here, then here's my e-mail address, kfwphillips@hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteHow exciting!! I'm glad to hear the news. Its fun to hear about the different cravings-I don't think I'd know if I was having a girl from my cravings, they've all been different for all my boys. #1 potatoes in any form and hot dogs, #2 strawberry shakes, #3 raspberries and cream and I couldn't eat fast food--but after he was born I couldn't get enough apple pie. Really weird since I didn't like pie that well before. #4 chocolate ice cream, again weird because I love ice cream and chocolate, but not chocolate ice cream.
ReplyDeleteGood luck, I hope it goes well for you and I'm excited!
That is awesome you guys. It's always an exciting/stressful time huh? Sorry about the miscarriage too. I sent you an invite...Your blog is cute, I like your background. Good luck with everything. Your kids are way too quiet in church by the way.
ReplyDeleteHey,
ReplyDeleteI think I may have written your email down wrong or something. Will you email me. My email is carebearcaldwell@yahoo.com.
Thanks.
I'm guessing illness has set in since this is still the most recent post!! I hope you're not too sick!
ReplyDeleteOh fantastic! I agree with the announcement policy. It's just as well to be up front about it, so we can all celebrate with you or be there for you if something were to happen. It will be interesting to see if your cravings match up.
