Wyatt and Michele gave Allison a hula hoop along with some dolls. However, the hula hoop was the hit of the party. Every one had to take a turn to either prove that they could still do it. Or to show off how fast they could do it.
Kamryn and Derek definitely won the speed prize. Brynli took the time to show Allison how to do it, Matthew had his own way of doing it, and Megan had a blast trying to get back to where she was in her younger years.
After all the hula hooping, it was cake time. Grandma put three candles on one side of the cake for Sadie. On the other side, she put on five for Allison. We started singing "Happy Birthday" and grandma decided to move the cake closer to the girls so they could have chance at blowing them out. We'll, one of the candles started to burn one of the flowers on the cake. The boys thought it was great. We blew that small fire out and tried it again.
Kevin was in charge of the camera. Look how big Madalynn is already.
Here Allison is trying to blow out her side of candles. Pay close attention to her bangs. Kevin was able to catch the flying bangs, how cute is that? Needless to say, she needed some extra help blowing the candles out.
Happy Birthday little miss Allison, the big "whole hand" 5. What a big girl!!
