Bubble blobs

I got this idea from a friend. She had it on her blog, and told us where she found it. I did the research, found it, and tried it. The kids thought it was great!! It's supposed to be a bubble snake. You get a plastic bubble, cut in half, cover with damp washcloth, dip in dish soap, and blow. What you get is several tiny little bubbles just holding onto each other forming a snake.

Matthew loved it as long as I did it, it kind of scared him? I dunno? Allison couldn't wait to do it herself. The only problem she had was that she would breath in what ever she just blew out. (Trying to blow more air into the bottle she would suck in with her mouth still over the bottle. Her snake never got to big, still loved it though!)

I first tried it inside, just over the sink, to see if we did it right. And we did!! We got a nice long bubble snake- in the sink. We moved it outside, obviously to prevent a big mess, but it was windy. The darn wind kept our snakes from getting very long.

We still had fun trying it out. I also got some really cute pictures out of it. Thanks Robin for the idea. I would suggest trying it out, lots of fun for the kids!!
