The Starr family easter.

So not to bore you of all our eastering. I picked out a couple pictures of each Easter "activity" that we did. I have several pictures to choose from, but I will save the rest for the scrapbook.

The very important coloring of the eggs.

Who's ready?!

The Easter basket hunt.

The Easter bunny hides our baskets. The kids love getting up and trying to find theirs. They always seem to find the others basket before they find their own. It's pretty fun to watch as well. As Allison is getting older, the Easter bunny had better find some better hiding spots!!

Here is Madalynn with her basket of goods!

Matthew stoked that he found his, and that it's full of CANDY!!!! Forget the cute little toy that the bunny brought!

Allison, who found all the other baskets before she finally found hers, was pretty excited that the Easter bunny didn't forget to bring hers.

Enjoying the Easter candy. Who needs to worry about breakfast on Easter morning?! Fortunately for the rest of us, it was general conference weekend and we got grandma Mansfield's abelskivers (might need to check the spelling on that one) mmm, mmm, mmmmmm!

The hunt!

The final picture.

All eggs are accounted for and baskets are full of even more candy. Matthew and Allison make the perfect pair. Matthew could care less about the eggs, he went straight to the candy. When his basket was full he started stuffing his pants and coat pockets. Allison could care less about the candy, and went for every egg. She picked up a couple pieces of candy, but her focus was on the eggs.

  1. Gotta love how excited kids are over Easter! You know I was thinking, with how talented you are with cakes you could create a second blog for showcasing them better. Then you can show them off and maybe even get paid if you direct people there! Just a random thought. =) Hope you're doing well!
