Couple of weeks ago we went out to visit my sister Amber. We did some busy scrap booking and busy talking. Catching up on all the comings and goings of each other. Staying up late, teasing and giggling with each other. Also enjoying the fact that our kids are old enough to now play well on there own. Now allowing ourselves to get many pages done, like the twenty that I did. When the older kids came home we would send them all outside to play. Of course I still have to check every once in a while, I've got a little wanderer, and every time I peeked my head out this is where I found Matthew.
A little boy, happy as can be in the sand box with all his tractors. A little piece of paradise for the boy.

Allison, who is so excited to help me out with the new baby, did what she could to help with the little kids too. She loved it. The yard, the other kids, Stephanie's barbies, pretty sweet life for her as well.
It was fun introducing them to a nice green yard, soft grass, and a mom who is not stressing out over all the dirt they are bringing in. They loved, I loved. It was a sweet weekend for everyone. Thanks Amber!!
Sounds fun. Twenty scrap book pages-holy moly!!! It is so nice when the cousins can just play together. I bet you guys are anxious to get your own yard. All in due time, right? It is so nice to have them outside exploring in the summer. June is coming soon!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's always great when they have cousins to play with too. For some reason they just don't need mom as much.
ReplyDeleteoooh, you made me tear up a little. I miss you guys so much sometimes!
ReplyDeleteHappy Mothers Day!
Love Yah
Oh man, I hear you on the backyard. Scott and I were sitting outside this evening dreading the day we sell our house. We love our backyard!!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about loving going to a place that has a better yard. Scott's older sister and fam now live only 10 minutes away and it's like a breath of fresh air to be able to let David play outside in a place other than a public park or playground. Cause we don't have any yard at all!
