Matthew loves toast! Usually I give it to him with just butter. I thought I would "spice" it up a bit, put a little jam (not just any jam, but grandma's homemade jam) on top. Then I waited to see if he would eat it. Well, he ate the jam and nothing else. Just licked it up like a puppy. Goes to show you how good Grandma's jam is!!
I later tried peanut butter, he'll eat all of it, bread and peanut butter. It's only grandma's jam that he eats this way. When jam season comes again, I think I will go down and still grandma's secret recipe, and make some for my own.

ReplyDeleteSo guess what my little girl said today, and I can only guess she learned it from Aunt Melanie. She said "there is a baby in there," while rubbing her belly, "A baby in there." And since I know it is not me who taught her, who do I know that is pregnant and has been spending a lot of time around my daughter? It was really cute!
